The first league comp of 2026 got underway a bit late, as the usual road to the Bwlch was closed necessitating a 30 minute detour (Welsh TV were filming a crash scene for the Welsh version of East Enders).
So we didn’t quite get started as we wanted to, and of course as soon as pilot one had flown the rain started, things did not look good.
However that was the last we saw of the rain until after we had packed away after completing 9 rounds. Everyone had a bit of good air during the day and there were a few new PB’s as well .
It was good to have Frank and Tony back and a new face joining us Tuba Wong, hopefully we’ll be seeing more of you on slopes throughout the year!
